An auditorium for science
A large immersive auditorium where the audience gathers around the scientific content, at any scale and from anywhere.

Roche · Virtual world · Scientific communication
Complex science is understood better when it can be inhabited. For Roche we designed a navigable virtual world: an auditorium that turns data, biology and processes into a space the visitor walks through, where the invisible becomes landscape and every concept finds its place.
A navigable world for scientific communication
A large immersive auditorium where the audience gathers around the scientific content, at any scale and from anywhere.
Cell networks, molecules and processes take shape around the visitor: the microscopic becomes architecture you can walk through.
Each mechanism unfolds in space with light and movement, to grasp at a glance what a flat chart would take long to explain.
A presenter leads the journey and translates complexity into story: rigorous science told as an experience.
What we made possible
We turned Roche’s scientific communication into a navigable world where the audience enters, explores and understands. A made-to-measure environment that gives body to the abstract. Three in-house brands so architecture, technology and narrative work as a single piece.
Three Noisy layers, one project
“Science is not simplified: it is made inhabitable. When you can walk inside a process, you understand it with your body, not just your head.”
